What got built.

Every release, every feature, every fix — exactly as I write them when they go live. No marketing speak. No quarterly announcements. Just notes.

  1. v2.4.0· Apr 18, 2026Current

    Performance loop, public.

The thing that makes Macro compound. Spend and ROAS now pull back into the canvas hourly, and variant routing biases the next generation toward what's actually converting — without your team lifting a finger.

    • NewPerformance loop — pull spend + ROAS from Meta and Google back into the canvas, weighted into future generations.
    • NewPer-creative cost panel. See CPM, CTR, ROAS without leaving the canvas.
    • ImprovedVariant explosion now respects per-platform safe zones (Meta 1.91:1 included by default).
    • FixedReddit publisher no longer drops alt text on multi-image posts.
  2. v2.3.0· Mar 30, 2026

    Nano Banana 2 + brand-color lock.

Brand-color drift was the #1 frustration in customer Slack — across long generation chains, palettes would slowly shift away from the brand kit. Brand-color lock fixes it for good.

    • NewNano Banana 2 is now the default image model. Sharper product realism, dramatically better text rendering.
    • NewBrand-color lock — pin a palette and Macro refuses to drift, even on long generation chains.
    • ImprovedReference library now accepts up to 32 references per generation (previously 14).
    • FixedCarousel exports now correctly preserve frame order on Meta uploads.
  3. v2.2.0· Mar 12, 2026

    Agency mode.

Studio Crepuscular and three other agencies kept asking for the same things — per-client scoping, white-label review, SSO, billing console. So I built them as a tier.

    • NewAgency mode — per-client workspaces, shared brand kits, role-based access.
    • NewSSO + SCIM (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
    • NewWhite-label canvas link — share view-only canvases with clients under your domain.
    • ImprovedBulk export ZIP now includes a per-platform manifest.json for trader handoff.
  4. v2.1.0· Feb 24, 2026

    Veo 3 + voiceovers.

Video creative was the biggest gap. Veo 3 fixed the quality side; ElevenLabs v3 fixed the audio side. The canvas now ships full multimedia in one cycle.

    • NewVeo 3 video generation, fully wired into the canvas.
    • NewElevenLabs v3 for voiceovers — 30+ languages, voice cloning gated to enterprise.
    • ImprovedCanvas auto-layout for new platform → audience → creative branches.
    • FixedFixed an issue where prompt history was lost on reload for unsaved canvases.
  5. v2.0.0· Feb 4, 2026

    Macro 2.0 — public launch.

Out of private beta after 14 months and 1.4M creatives shipped through the canvas. Pricing public. Pro trial open. Native publishing live for Meta and Google.

    • NewPublic launch. Out of private beta.
    • NewPricing — Starter, Pro, Agency. 14-day Pro trial, no credit card.
    • NewNative Meta + Google publishing via official APIs.
    • ImprovedNew canvas physics — drag-with-momentum, snap-to-grid, smooth-zoom.
  6. v1.9.0· Jan 14, 2026

    Reference library, rebuilt.

Reference images go from 'inspiration' to 'multimodal conditioning' — encoded directly into the model rather than glued onto the prompt.

    • NewMultimodal conditioning for reference images — passed as image-conditioned context, not prompt strings.
    • ImprovedBrand kits live as a node on the canvas, wired into every generation downstream.
    • FixedPer-client scope no longer leaks references when the workspace switches mid-session.
The dispatch

One short note when something ships. No marketing emails, no "we have an exciting update" subject lines.
