Privacy Policy

1. The short version

We collect what we need to make Macro work for you and almost nothing else. We never sell your data. We never train public models on your generations or reference imagery without explicit, per-workspace opt-in. If anything below contradicts this paragraph, this paragraph wins — and please tell us.

2. What we collect

When you use Macro we collect: account information you provide (email, name, billing details), usage telemetry (which features you use, how often, error reports), and the content you create on the canvas (campaigns, prompts, generated assets, reference images).

3. How we use it

We use account info to authenticate you and bill you. We use telemetry to fix bugs, improve performance, and decide what to build next. We use canvas content to power your workspace and — only if you opt in — to fine-tune brand-specific models on your behalf.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data with sub-processors that power Macro (cloud hosting, model providers, payment processing, email delivery, analytics) under strict contractual obligations. A full sub-processor list is available on request.

5. AI model usage

When you generate an asset, your prompt and reference images are sent to the underlying model provider (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, BlackForestLabs, etc.). Each provider has its own data policy; we route only through providers that explicitly disallow training on customer data unless you opt in at the workspace level.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, and delete your data at any time from your workspace settings. EU/UK/CA residents have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA — write to privacy@macro.studio and we'll honor them within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We're SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo annual penetration tests. Our most recent SOC 2 report is available under NDA.

8. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication and a small set of first-party analytics cookies that don't follow you off the site. We don't use ad-tracking cookies anywhere on macro.studio.

9. Changes

When we change this policy materially, we'll email everyone with an active account at least 30 days before it takes effect. We'll keep the previous version available for comparison.
