Legal
Terms of Service
Effective: April 1, 2026
1. The short version
By using Macro you agree to these terms. We promise to run a well-built, well-supported product. You promise not to use it to do anything illegal, abusive, or designed to break the service for others. If we ever sound lawyerly below, the spirit of this paragraph wins.
2. Account
You're responsible for the security of your account. Don't share credentials. Use SSO if your org has it. Tell us immediately if you think your account is compromised.
3. Plans & billing
Pricing is published at macro.studio/pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your workspace settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Macro to: generate CSAM, generate non-consensual intimate imagery, harass or impersonate, infringe IP rights, or violate any ad platform's policies. Don't run automated scraping or rate-abusing workloads. Don't reverse engineer the service.
5. Your content
You own everything you create on Macro: prompts, references, and generated outputs (subject to underlying model provider terms). You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.
6. AI generations
AI-generated content is provided as-is. We make commercial-use guarantees only on outputs from models with explicit commercial-use terms, and we route to those by default. Always verify critical claims (statistics, third-party trademarks, comparative claims) on generated copy before publishing.
7. Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for Pro and Agency tiers. If we miss, we issue service credits per the SLA in your contract. The free Starter tier is provided without an SLA.
8. Termination
You can terminate any time. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms or fail to pay. We'll always give you 30 days to export your data after termination.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes go to binding arbitration in San Francisco, except for IP claims and small-claims actions.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get 30 days' email notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
